
Kanykei Tursunbaeva

Senior research associate at the EUASU and Centre for Criminology. Coordinator of the EUASU conference organizing team. Honorary member of the Odessa Historical and Literary Society.
Secretary of the Communications Department at the European Academy of Sciences in Ukraine (EUASU). Journalist, translator and interpreter. Senior research associate at the EUASU and Centre for Criminology. Coordinator of the EUASU conference organizing team. Kanykei Tursunbaeva is the translator of numerous scholarly works and other non-fiction material, including old manuscripts and treatises that date back as far as 1605. Her most recent translation work was on Maestro. Jean Baudrillard. The last Prophet of Europe (Dr. Oleg Maltsev, Dr. Lucien Oulahbib).
Tursunbaeva regularly contributes to and translates for La Voce di New York, Global Voices, Expedition Magazine, World of Martial Arts, Roll-On Magazine, Granite of Science, Who is Who, and Culture and Religion among many other publications. She participates in research projects for the Union of European Journalists, the Memory Institute, and other institutions such as the Criminology Center.
Kanykei Tursunbaeva is an Honorary Member of the Odessa Historical and Literary Society, and an Honorary Member of the Odessa Scientific-Humanitarian Society. Her research interests include martial philosophies of the Middle Ages, weapons handling, organized crime, international relations, postmodernism, human behavior in extreme situations, culture and mentality studies.
